Last week I got shoot the Razorbacks and Austin Peay at the Jim Thorpe Classic Basketball Tournament in Fayetteville. I like shooting basketball because I can get so close to the action.
Here is Michael Washington, looking like a rock star but about to sit on my lens.
Stephan Welsh spent the whole night hiding his face from me. He is shy in front of the camera.
Michael Sanchez looks exactly like my friend Shaun who just got engaged. Congrats Kristin and Shaun!
The next night I attended and shot my first Razorback women's basketball game. I can see how it might be hard for them to fill the stands. They are a little more all over the place than the men, which doesn't make my job any easier.
I tried to pay close attention to everything but it had been a long day and Wesley totally caught me spacing out during halftime.
Not sure what I was thinking about here but it might have had something to do with this.
After Christmas I'll be ready to go again and shoot my little heart out. Although I can't help but think I'm one camping chair with no legs away from getting kicked in the teeth by Courtney Fortson.
